UUM ONLINE, 30 November 2020: The Journal of International Studies (JIS) ISSN 1823-691X published by UUM Press, Universiti Utara Malaysia has been successfully indexed in SCOPUS after it successfully underwent an assessment conducted by the Content Selection and Advisory Board (CSAB) recently.
The Journal of International Studies led by Assoc. Prof Dr Ratnaria Wahid as its Editor-in-Chief was first published in 2005. It focuses on the field of International Studies.
Among the JIS criteria which enabled it to be successfully indexed by Scopus are its clear scope and content of the paper, the abstract meets the criteria in the English Language, the increase in citation of articles in it cited by researchers as reference for their publication in other Scopus Indexed journals.
UUM currently has four Scopus indexed journals namely the Journal of Information and Communication Technology, the Malaysian Journal of Learning and Instruction, the UUM Journal of Legal Studies and the Journal of International Studies.
